Autopsy + Volatility + a couple of sample images (the DFIR community shares plenty) covers 80% of learning for $0. Add a small SSD to practice imaging with dd/FTK Imager. Skip commercial tooling until an employer pays — the concepts transfer, the buttons don't matter yet.
