CISA with no formal audit background — feasible?

Coming from a sysadmin role. CISA assumes audit experience I don't have. Is self-study enough to bridge that?
Feasible but respect the gap. The exam thinks in "IS auditor" terms — controls, evidence, independence — that a sysadmin brain fights at first. The ISACA review manual plus the QAE database is the standard path. Budget extra time for the audit-process domain specifically; the tech domains you'll find easy.
